In 1981, Gaston Glock assembled a team of engineers and designed his first firearm. The result was submitted to the Austrian Army pistol trials and won the contract in 1982. Since then, Glock has become legendary for its reliability.

It is in keeping with Glocks ability to endure hard use and abuse that Indie Guns set out to make the best bombproof Glock “non-Glock” slide on the market.

RETRO Glock slides are machined from heat treated 17-4PH stainless steel which is regarded as the perfect material for hard-use firearms components.  In addition to high mechanical strength, and 17-4 is corrosion resistant and can be heat treated to optimal hardness levels.  17-4 is more costly and difficult to machine than 416 and 4000-series carbon (used on most production gun slides), but it’s the best stuff for the job.

  • Straight Rear Cocking Serrations cut slightly deeper than OEM to provide added grip in all conditions
  • Lowered ejection port for added clearance of spent casings to reliably eject

  • Flush cut muzzle w/ 20° deep crown
  • Twist rate is 1:10
  • Stress relieved and heat treated to RC 40-42
